Self-serve community fridge
Summer produce market
During the summer
months, we operate a "Fresh-n'-Free Produce Market on Saturdays from 9 to 10:30 AM, open to all. Local farms donate excess produce which we pass on to those who can use it. Operating for nearly 16 weeks each year, it benefits between 25 to 30 families each week.
Located across the parking lot from the Food Pantry we have a Self-Serve Community Fridge to provide additional access to food. Open daily from 7AM to 9 PM, it contains a mixed variety of items, which may include bread, dairy, produce and snacks. Meant to supplement the pantry offerings, it is open to all our neighbors.
Please note: this is only a spot to provide food, it is not a place to leave food for others. If you have donations, they should be made at the pantry itself.
holiday baskets
Three days worth of extras are available during Thanksgiving and the Spring and Winter holidays for up to 60 families. These packages include the "fixins" for a holiday meal as well as some extra goodies.
The 4-H Teen Council assists us with this project.
